Short description:
This is a project about the customs and traditions in each country. Each participating country will show their customs and traditions. In this way, we have the chance to see the similarities between the countries and find out we are not that different.
Goals:
The goals of the project are: to embrace diversity, to collaborate, to improve English and ICT skills
ICT tools:
PowerPoint presentations,
Photos, Word documents, Webcam,
SlideShare, videos, skype, etc.
Pedagogical basis:
The aims of this project are: to improve intercultural collaboration to enhance students’ skills, to find the real face of Europe, to understand the importance of traditions, to improve willingness to share and learn.
Working methods:
·      student workgroups
·      teacher workgroups
·      mixed groups
·      communication by e-mail
·      creating PowerPoint slides, videos, pictures, drawings and finally
·      common posters

1st Month
Sending e-mails and introductions in Word or PowerPoint in order to know better the partners and their schools

2nd Month
Cooperating using known ICT skills: Using PowerPoint presentations, movies, slide pictures, digital photos, slideshares, slide pictures
The project team of each country
3rd Month
Description of the most known traditions in each country by using Teacher Tube Video, Slide Share, Blogger
The coordinator of the project in each school

4th Month
Presentations through photos, Animoto, Jigsaw,
Slidecom, Google of old customs
The students of each partner country

5th Month
Finding traditions similar to each country using different tools. Make poster concluding that we have many similarities.
